Summer Holidays – Safeguarding Team
During the school holidays, the safeguarding team will not be available to support with any concerns. Please feel free to contact us through the normal channels, but be advised that any contact will be picked up by staff and actioned in September. If you have immediate concerns regarding the safety of a child, the police should be contacted immediately by calling 999. If you believe the situation is urgent but there is no immediate danger, please call 0345 8503 503 to speak with the Integrated Front Door who will advise and support. You can also contact them by e-mail on social_care_direct_children@wakefield.gov.uk.
