Emotional Health & Wellbeing

At Trinity Academy Cathedral, the wellbeing of our staff and students is of central importance, even more so over recent years living through a pandemic. We strive to promote positive wellbeing, both physical and mental, across our whole school community so we are both happy and healthy.

As an academy, we pride ourselves in offering a supporting and nurturing environment for students, offering them experiences that will develop their resilience, confidence and self esteem. All staff are positive role models to the students and we have been praised on how we build positive relationships among the community which create a sense of belonging and ensure ‘there are no lost sheep.’ You can view our 2020 SIAMS report for more information about how we effectively cater for the wellbeing of our academy community.

Throughout this section there are various wellbeing factsheets – with thanks to H Huffinley from one of our sister schools, Trinity Academy Grammar, for these resources.
