A rapidly improving academy
Trinity Academy Cathedral is a rapidly improving school. Since early 2016, the academy has been run by Principal Rob Marsh, an established leader from one of the best academy schools in the country.
The academy formally joined Trinity Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in March 2018, enabling it to be supported to achieve its vision of outstanding provision for all.
The last full Ofsted inspection which was conducted in 2016 graded the academy as ‘Requires Improvement’ but since then we have achieved academic results in the top 10% nationally twice, become the highest performing secondary in Wakefield been announced as the secondary school of the year by the TES in 2019!. In that time we have made a wide range of improvements and changes, and we welcome visits and queries from parents who would like to know more about our significant improvements.
Ofsted invites parents to submit their views on their child’s school confidentially. A summary of the results are then displayed on Ofsted’s Parent View website. Please note that all your answers are kept completely confidential by Ofsted. Although we can view (along with other members of the public) a summary of the overall results, we have no access to individual answers and we cannot see who has completed the survey.
