We are keen for our students to be aware of the range of post-16 options that are available to them and one of these options is apprenticeships. As part of our CEIAG programme we are developing an “understanding apprenticeships programme”. Our Enterprise Advisor delivered an assembly to the whole of Year 10 to help student’s understand what an apprenticeship is and where to begin to find a suitable placement.
Fifty Year 10 students visited The Great Yorkshire showground on Wednesday 9th October to attend The National Apprenticeship show. They were able to speak to a range of apprenticeship providers and find out more information about the range of apprenticeship opportunities that are available.
A small group of students are going to participate in a workshop with our Enterprise Advisor which will focus on apprenticeship in the Hair industry.
