Homework at Trinity Academy Cathedral

Homework is a crucial part of your child’s education and all students can expect to receive regular homework. The amount will depend upon the phase students are in.

Students at Trinity Academy Cathedral are encouraged to have a good balance between home and academy life, and plan out their homework completion so that they can make the most of the extracurricular activities available.

As a key communication tool, the Home Academy Agreement outlines how we request that you sign planners on a weekly basis, to confirm that you have updated yourself with what homework your child has received. The planner can also be used to send non-confidential messages to the academy.

Planners also contain key reminders for students regarding our Behaviour for Learning Policy and a copy of our Academy Prayer.

Students are provided with a new planner each year, free of charge. The academy expects that students will take care of these. Please note that any student who fails to take the expected care of their planner will be expected to replace these at a cost of £5.00.
